A driver who had the learner sign on his car has reportedly crushed six children to death in Arue-Uromi, Esan-North East Local Government Area of Edo state.
According to eyewitnesses, the six children were playing football on the street when the driver while trying to dodge a pothole swerved to where they were and crushed them to death.
The children include four girls and two boys said to be siblings.
Following the tragic incident, residents of the community immediately blocked the road and set the car ablaze.
Meanwhile, Edo State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Henry Benamaisia, has confirmed the incident.
