A 21 years old lady identified as Emila Sunday has been arrested for attempting to sell her three months old baby boy at Ire-village Ojoto for N150, 000 In Anambra state.
It was gathered that after the Akwa Ibom lady was arrested on Tuesday, November 24, she confessed that she decided to sell her baby due to hardship.
Confirming the incident, spokesperson of the state police command, Haruna Mohammed said the rescued baby is in good condition.
He added that further investigation is ongoing.
