Born on 14th August, Hadiza Blell, professionally known as Di’ja is a Nigerian singer, visual artist, songwriter, actress, fashion designer, and humanitarian.
She is currently signed to Mavin Records.
Di’ja was born in Kaduna to a Sierra Leonean father and a northern Nigerian mother,
Before her family finally settled down in Nigeria, Di’ja also lived in Sierra Leone, the United States, and Canada.
Di’ja has a double bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Biology.
Early Music Career
Di’ja started her music career in 2008. She performed as one of the opening singers for Akon’s performance at Sierra Leone’s 49th Independence anniversary celebration.
The singer released some of her hot singles In 2012 and 2013,.
In 2014, Di’ja came into the limelight when Don Jazzy signed her to the Mavin Record label. “Yaro”, her first official single under the label was also released that year.
In May 2014, Di’Ja was featured on “Dorobucci” alongside label mates Don Jazzy, Dr SID, Tiwa Savage, D’Prince, Korede Bello and Reekado Banks.
She was also featured on “Arise”, alongside Don Jazzy and Reekado Banks.
On December 15, 2017, Di’Ja released her extended play “Aphrodija”. It featured Tiwa Savage and Reekado Banks.
Di’ja got married to her lover, Rotimi Olo in 2015. Their marriage is blessed with three children.
