Months ago, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrested renowned Nigerian singer, Naira Marley in relation to alleged advance fee scam and related cyber-crimes.
He was later taken to court where Justice Nicholas Onweibo adjourned the singer’s internet fraud case to October 22, 23 and 24 for accelerated hearing.
He, however, was granted an N2million bail, with two sureties in a like sum.
Now, the singer whose real name is Azeez Fashola is due to be back at the Federal High Court in Lagos for the hearing.
“The matter is coming up tomorrow,” Wilson Uwujaren, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission ((EFCC) spokesman, said yesterday.
