President Muhammadu Buhari has said that the next four years will be tough.
Buhari said, “My last lap of four years, I think is going to be tough. People are very forgetful and that’s why during the campaign I spoke about our cardinal agenda.”
He noted that he would continue with his three-point agenda of fighting insecurity, corruption and fixing the economy.
The president disclosed this when he addressed members of the federal executive council (FEC) who came to congratulate him on his victory at Saturday’s presidential election.
He said his ability to campaign sometimes in two states per day during the period, showed that he is sound and ready to continue in leading Nigeria for the next four years.
INEC, declared President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as the winner of Nigeria’s 2019 presidential election on Wednesday morning.
Buhari polled 15,191,847 votes to defeat his closest rival, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, who scored 11,262,978 votes and 73 other candidates.
