The former presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Donald Duke, has faulted the presidency over the arraignment of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Walter Onnoghen.
There were moves to remove the CJN before the general election on grounds of false assets declaration.
Reacting, Duke on his twitter handle said the time of the judgment was poor, describing it as a bad omen.
He tweeted, “The assault on the CJ at this time is in poor judgement and a bad omen.
“To act cavalier and without tact, is folly. Our government has lost its bearing.”
