The Super Eagles players on Sunday, arrived Asaba, Delta state after picking the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations ticket in the qualifying match against Bafana Bafana of South Africa.
The team and contingent arrived at the Asaba International airport after a 7 and half hours trip from OR Tambo International airport in Johannesburg.
The three-time African champions forced a 1-1 draw against South Africa at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.
Nigeria will be appearing at the African showpiece after missing out in the last two editions of the tourney.
Nigeria top group E with 10 points from five games.
The Nigerian side will now shift focus to Tuesday’s international friendly against Ugandan Cranes at the Stephen Keshi stadium, Asaba.
Brighton and Hoves FC defender, Leon Balogun who suffered a knock on Saturday did not travel with the team but left for England after been excused by the coach.
